Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions of hire for Evesham Town Hall.

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when payment has been received in full. Until payment is received, dates cannot be guaranteed. The Town Hall reserves the right to release unpaid bookings.

2. Cancellation

If a booking is cancelled within 5 days of the hire date, a charge of 50% of the hire fee applies. The Town Hall reserves the right to charge the full hire fee in circumstances set out in the detailed hire terms provided at the time of booking.

3. Use of Premises

The hirer is responsible for the conduct of all persons attending the event and for any damage to the premises, fixtures, or fittings. The venue must be left in the condition in which it was found. Any additional cleaning required will be charged at the prevailing rate.

4. Insurance

Hirers are advised to arrange their own public liability insurance for the duration of their event. The Town Hall accepts no liability for loss or damage to property belonging to the hirer or their guests.

5. Noise and Disturbance

The hirer must ensure that noise levels are kept within reasonable limits, particularly during evening events. Music and amplified sound must cease by the time specified in the booking confirmation.

6. Health and Safety

The hirer must comply with all relevant health and safety regulations. Maximum occupancy limits must be observed. Fire exits must not be blocked at any time. The hirer is responsible for conducting their own risk assessment for their event.
